I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
